Very nice small air compressor

I really like this little Limodot 1.5 HP air compressor! It’s small, easily portable, is MUCH easier on the ears than my big compressor, and has enough air volume for anything I am likely going to need to use it for outside of the shop. I also have a garden shed that I always wanted to get a compressor for, primarily to blow the dirt, dust, and debris from my garden tractor when I am done using it. Since it’s an electric tractor, it doesn’t get along well with hosing it down with water as I used to do with my gas-powered tractor. But with this compressor I’ll have a clean machine, and I won’t have to drive it close to the workshop and drag out the hose to clean it! Plus it’ll be great for inflating the tires on the tractor and other lawn equipment I’ve got in there.

SUPER QUIET! Tank fills quickly, built like a bigger compressor, no cheesy parts.

If you have not been around one of these quiet air compressors, you won’t believe it’s possible for one to be this quiet. Generally, small compressor has always meant ridiculously loud! I’ve owned and been around more than my fair share of loud compressors. In addition to quiet, this compressor seems very well built. The controls, gauges and switches all seem to be good quality and similar to what you might find on a bigger compressor. The tank drain is a 1/4 turn valve right on the front. It’s easy to access and makes draining the tank easy.
I can also say I was quite satisfied with how quickly it airs up the tank and how quickly it recovers. I’ve used it to air up a full size SUV tire and I find it to be much better than any gas station air station or even a similarly sized home model that I have.

Quiet, Lightweight Package

This is the perfect package for my home/hobby pneumatic requirements.

Quiet and accurate

I took this out of the box, installed the supplied air filter and turned it on. My initial reaction was that it was very quiet. It shut itself off at 120psi.
I set the dial for 90psi and hooked up my air hose. The quick connect snapped into place smoothly and easily.I put my brad nailer on and drove several brads into a piece of scrap oak. At 90psi there was no problem. Once I was through fooling around with the nailer, I turned the compressor off and opened the drain to let the air out. It drained quickly.
My general impression is this is a good compressor for a good price. It makes very little noise and I detected no leaks of any kind.
